Veterinary Physiotherapists specialise in the release of muscle spasm and in the mobilisation of joints to aid in pain relief and restoration of normal movement patterns, helping to improve performance and help prevent injury in your animals. The beautiful little Faith really enjoyed her first physiotherapy session yesterday. Faith is a very special little girl having only arrived in the UK a few weeks prior. She is an #ivddsurvivor and hopefully with some Physiotherapy we can increase her hindlimb movement 💪🏻🙏 her lovely owner is absolutely amazing and does all her exercises! I’m so proud of my little collie, Rosie. We have been working SO hard to get better at agility and last night was an amazing training session. She was super focused and did 2 of her best rounds ever! This being one of them. The course was quite twisty and required some good focus work - and Rosie aced it! 🥰 Agility dogs need maintaining with regular physiotherapy as there is a high demand to perform well on their bodies. If they do not feel as comfortable they won’t perform as well - as simple as that! Warm up routines and cool down routines are also super important. Newbie to Lily Moffatt Vet Physio today - meet Hattie! She thoroughly enjoyed her laser therapy today, and was an absolute angel to treat. Looking forward to seeing her again for a check up next week 🐾🐶 She is a brilliant example of working as a multi-modal approach to care and management of the older patient. Thank you to Katy for the referral, hopefully she can go back to enjoying her massages when we have alleviated a little more of the deeper musculature pain 🐾🐶
